What do I do if I can't receive my authentication code to log in?

How to Resolve Not Receiving Your Two-Factor Authentication Code



FirmRoom offers two-factor authentication (2FA) as an added security measure when logging in. If you're experiencing issues with receiving your 2FA code, follow these steps:

If You Are an Admin:


Contact the support team via the 24/7 in-product chat or by emailing us at support@firmroom.com.
We will generate one-time recovery codes for you and send them to you directly via email.

If You Are Not an Admin:


Due to security protocols, you will need approval from an admin in your room. Please reach out to an admin and have them send written verification of their approval to generate recovery codes for you. The admin can contact support via the 24/7 chat or by emailing us at support@firmroom.com.
Once we receive written approval from an admin, we will generate the recovery codes for you and send them directly to your email. You will then be able to log in and regain access.

Tip: We highly recommend using an authenticator app for 2FA as it's more reliable than text message.
