# Types of Notifications

FirmRoom provides various types of notifications to keep you informed about important activities and updates within the platform.

| Tip: Each user sets their own notification frequency. You can adjust the frequency and type of email notifications you receive in the User Settings. See this article for more info: [How do I adjust my email notifications?](/en/article/how-do-i-adjust-my-email-notifications-m0xeip/)

Notifications are automatically sent via email or can be found within the notifications tab on the left menu within FirmRoom.
