# How to Delete a Data Room

You have to be an Administrator in order to delete a room.

To delete a room, follow these steps:
1. Go to the **Settings** tab in the top navigation to the far right.
2. Select **General** from the left menu.
3. Scroll down until you see the button **Delete the Room**. 

|| Note: This button will permanently delete this room and all room files and requests. Billing will also be stopped.
