# How do I check my data storage?


# How to Check Data Storage

In order to check how much data you're using in a single room:

1. Click on the **Settings** tab located at the top right corner of the screen.
2. Within the Settings tab, select **General** from the left menu.
3. Scroll down the General page until you see **Get data usage**.
4. Click **View data usage**.

4. A pop-up window will display the total data usage.

|| Note: Deleted data is still counted towards your active data amount. To remove the archive data, you can permanently delete files from your Data Room trash.

### To permanently delete files from your Data Room trash:

1. Go to the **Data Room** tab.
2. Select **Trash** from the bottom left, located to the right of your user profile.
3. Select which files you'd like to delete.
4. Click the red button at the top, labeled **Remove permanently**.
