How to Bulk Download Files in the Data Room

To bulk download files from the Data Room, follow these steps:

1. Select the desired room and navigate to the Data Room tab at the top of the screen.
2. Click on the Home folder icon in the left menu to display all the folders and files in the room.
3. Click the Download All button at the top.

4. A pop-up window will appear with additional download options:

• Add file indexes to titles: Adds numbering to file names (e.g., 01_filename, 02_filename) for easier sorting.
• Shorten long titles: Automatically truncates long file names to avoid Windows path errors.
• Include parent folders: Keeps the folder structure from the data room in your download.
• Notify me by email when files are ready to download: Sends an email alert once your download is prepared.

5. Your download will be compressed into a .zip file. Save it to your hard drive and extract its contents to access all the downloaded files.

Further information on Extracting .Zip files in Windows:

1. Save the downloaded .zip file to the hard drive.
2. Right click on the file and select extract all. This will open the extraction wizard.
3. Click Next and then select the location to extract the files to. (This example uses Program Files on C drive.)
4. Choose the option to Make a new folder. (Most make the folder name “http://IDAutomation.com _[FONT NAME]_“)
5. Click Ok. The directory should now point to “C:\Program Files\http://IDAutomation.com [FONT NAME].”
6. Click Next to begin the extraction process.
7. Make sure that the Show Extracted Files option is checked.
8. Click Finish when complete.
