# Can I Change My Data Room URL?

Need to update your FirmRoom URL to better reflect your company name or a specific deal? While you can’t make this change directly in the platform for security reasons, our team is here to help. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to request a URL update for your room.

1. **Where to Find Your URL |** To view your current FirmRoom URL, go to your room settings and navigate to the **General** tab. In the **Room Link** section, you'll see the active URL and have the option to copy it for easy sharing.

2. **How to Request a URL Change |** If you'd like to change your FirmRoom URL, a room admin can contact FirmRoom Support via the in-platform chat or by emailing** support@firmroom.com.** Be sure to include the current room name and the new name you'd like reflected in the URL.
3. **Publishing Changes **| Once received, our support team can process the change in just a few minutes. After refreshing your screen, your new URL will be live and ready to use.
